April is National Card and Letter Writing Month and we're so excited.

Everyone loves getting mail but what so many people miss is that sending mail is really satisfying and rewarding.

Postmarked mail is, dare I say, my passion.*

I love all of it: getting (of course!) and sending mail, making and buying stationery, all the beautiful stamps that are available, but most of all I love that we are able to send our thoughts, our love, a good recipe, a drawing, and ultimately, a bit of ourselves for a mere 49¢ — amazing!

This April, we'll post letter-related inspiration including movies and books [that feature letters and letter writing as part of the main theme], mail art, tools, supplies, and tips.

And we hope you'll join us by sending a few letters and cards of your own.

You won't be disappointed.

People will be surprised and really happy to get your mail, and there's a good chance you're going to feel even better for having sent it. You may even get some mail yourself!
