Entering a New Dimension

Today is Science Fiction Day!
Though I love to read, admittedly, science fiction is not a genre I pursue. That being said, as I searched for the top titles in science fiction literature, I was surprised to see that I had read (and enjoyed) a couple of them.

There are a lot of lists - the top 10, the top 100, and each one is different. Lots of titles overlap, and the criteria for each list varies. Two I found were comprehensive and come from familiar sources: NPR published a list of science fiction books based on fan input that includes science fiction and fantasy, and Rotten Tomatoes has a list of 100 science fiction and fantasy movies.

What were the two books I read?
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, and
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
